Lil Snupe’s talents were before his time, but sadly, the young spitter never got his time to shine on the world stage. Snupe, whose real name was Addaren Ross, was gunned down at the young age of 18 on June, 20, 2013.
Meek Mill can be credited with providing Snupe an opportunity to show the world what he was made of after signing him to Dreamchasers.
Meek has had his fair share of insults on social media following his loss to Drake in their rap battle. The Philly native has thick skin, but he doesn’t appreciate insults directed towards Snupe.
Meek spoke on the evil ways of trolls during an interview with My Mixtapez.
“I don’t know how the Internet go sometimes,” he said. “The Internet kinda like uncontrollable where people go with their own ways. They say what they wanna say. You’d put a picture up of your baby, somebody a tell you your baby ugly. When Lil Snupe died, people was putting up, ‘Rest in piss’ or I got him killed. It’s a world of cowards where people get behind a computer and just type anything and like discredit you or talk about your family and friends.”
