Swagg Dinero visited the street memorial of Geremy “Caveman” Hoover who was gunned down Sept. 23 during a robbery attempted. He died three days later from his injuries.
Swagg posted a photo of himself posted near the slain man’s memorial to his Instagram account.
“BIP CAVEMAN. GONE TO SOON. YOU WAS A REAL ASS NIGGA #LOVE NIGGA,” the caption on the photo read.
The “Holocaust” rapper also honored the young victim upon hearing news of his death.

Hoover, a relative of incarcerated Gangster Disciples founder Larry Hoover, was the victim of an armed robbery that occurred in the South Shore neighborhood in Chicago.
He was shot twice in the face during the Sunday afternoon incident after an unknown assailant asked the 24-year-old father of three to borrow his cellular device. The roober emptied contents of Hoover’s pockets before fleeing.
Geremy’s mother Dinah Hoover told DNAinfo.com Larry Hoover, who is her first cousin, is upset about her son’s murder.
“Larry has red blood running through his veins like you and I do. Geremy is Larry’s blood relation, that’s an outright slap in the face, especially to Larry, who he was,” she said. “And if he wanted to something negative to happen he has the power to do it. That’s not what we want to see happen.”
Dinah said her son was not gang-affiliated despite his last name and was employed through her transportation company.
She hopes anyone with information leading to the arrest of her son’s killer would come forward. She doesn’t want anyone take the law into his or her own hands and perform street justice.
“Please, if you find who did this or the responsible party, I don’t want anyone to kill him,” she told DNAinfo. “For the sake of my son, I don’t want another mother to go through this. … to have to bury a child.”
“…I don’t want this blowing into something bigger. I would just love for [the shooter] to go to court, get convicted, go to jail and live there until he dies. That’s my desire.”
