XXXTentacion Starts ‘F*ck Xanax’ Movement After Death Of Lil Peep

XXXTentacion is against the use of drugs. X made his stance known following the tragic death of Lil Peep who succumbed to a drug overdose.

“I’ma start a whole new wave and a whole new movement called f**k Xanax,” X said in a video posted online. “If I see anyone post them doing Xanax online, you’re f*****g stupid. If you promote drug use, if I see you promoting Xanax after Lil Peep died, you’re f****g stupid. Stop doing Xanax 2017.”

Lil Peep, born Gustav Ahr, died after overdosing on an unknown drugs before hitting the stage before a show in Tucson, AZ. He was 21.

Peep’s manager Chase Ortega confirmed Peep’s death on Twitter, writing, “I’ve been expecting this call for a year. Mother f**k.”

Peep’s second manager Mikey Cortez was also distraught by Peep’s death.

“I’m completely heart broken and lost right now,” Cortez said on Instagram. “I can’t even feel it’s not real. I love you and I’ll miss you always. One of the realest. Please someone tell me this isn’t real.”

Many recording artists took to social media to pay their respects to Peep, including Post Malone, Marshmello and Rich Chigga, to name a few.

Post Malone posted a photo of himself with Peep with a caption, reading, “In the short time that I knew you, you were a great friend to me and a great person. Your music changed the world and it’ll never be the same. I love you bud. Forever.”

Marshmello told followers on Twitter that he and Peep were in preparation to collab on new music.

“I cant even believe this. We were just talking last week about working on a song together and now you’re gone. You will be missed, R.I.P.,” he wrote on Twitter. “Peep was the nicest person. hanging out with him, talking to him about music, the song ideas we were going to do together and touring was so amazing. Everyone will miss you man.”

Chigga wrote on Twitter:

“R.I.P. Lil Peep. im glad I got to meet you when were in dc, this s**t is crazy.

It’s important to be positive at a time like, tell your friends you love them and how much you appreciate them.”
