Chief Keef is now among throngs of supporters who want the release of incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane.

Gucci Mane is currently in jail for hitting a fan in the head with a champagne bottle in an Atlanta nightclub.

The victim, James Lettley, was seriously wounded and was treated with 10 stitches.

Referring to Gucci Mane as “Guwop,” Atlanta emcee Young Scooter took Twitter to advocate his release and disparage the police.

“FREE MY NIGGA GUWOP FUCK THE POLICE,” he wrote.



Chief Keef retweeted Young Scooter’s statement and responded, “on bd,” which is an acronym for Black Disciple.



Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis, appeared in court last Wednesday on a charge of aggravated assault.

Due to the nature of the offense and his extensive criminal history, Gucci Maine’s bail request was denied.
