Comedian Lil’ Duval Sparks Controversy after Tweeting Insensitive ‘Connecticut School Shooting’ Joke



Comedian Lil’ Duval has Twittersphere in an uproar after tweeting an insensitive joke regarding the tragic Connecticut elementary school shooting that left 27 people dead, including 18 children.

“Damn sorry to hear about 27 people getting killed at a school. He must’ve had a lot ammunition,” he wrote on his Twitter



Backlash soon intensified against the Atlanta bred comedian.

Lil’ Duval countered the criticism writing, “Here y’all go interpreting my tweets how y’all wanna interpret them.”



Twitter user @TEAM_KMICHELLEP wrote the comedian saying “that’s not funny kids got killed.”

“Ummmmmm it wasnt meant to be funny,” Lil Duval replied.



Another Twitter user message the comedian writing, “Ur a comedian..even seriousness can be mistaken for a joke. Best to stay silent.”

Lil Duval replied, “Smh I see.”
