A Kappa Alpha Psi member and his husband were instantly thrust into the spotlight following a controversial wedding video many felt were inspired by crimson and cream fraternity colors. The video earned the title “Gay Kappa Wedding” by various media outlets.

Ravi K. Perry, an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Mississippi State University, doesn’t understand the hoopla surround the so-called “gay Kappa wedding” video footage that has circulated quickly around social media.

A video has surfaced on the Internet purportedly showing two men of Kappa Alpha Psi getting married. The two men, Robert Brown and Nathaniel Gay, held a crimson and cream ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 4 in Kentucky.
